Heart Association Guidelines for CPR & ECC. The ACLS Provider Manual contains all of the information students need to know to successfully complete the Instructor-led, classroom ACLS Course.

 If you have not taken an ACLS class previously, or your certification has expired, you have the option of taking the blended learning program then attending an ACLS update program where your skills will be tested. please see the ACLS Blended Learning page.

The Blended Learning Program is not mandatory for renewal, it is only mandated if you are not currently certified in ACLS.
We have a CPR renewal class the same day with two options, a 2 hour renewal after ACLS or a one hour blended learning prior. Look at BLS page to register for the two hour add on. Do the BLS Blended Learning for a one hour classroom certification prior to your ACLS class. Register on the BLS Blended Learning page.
With the 2015 guidelines comes a pre-requisite. AHA mandates all students take the pretest and pass by 70%. 
The test can be accessed at www.heart.org/eccstudent. You will need the code is acls15. This code is also found on the front page of your book.

Online course for EKG Rythm Interpretation
AHA Learn: Rhythm Adult Online
  • Electrocardiogram (ECG) rhythm recognition is a key skill required to be successful in determining a patient’s condition and knowing which treatment algorithm to apply. This self-directed, online course introduces healthcare providers to normal cardiac rhythms and prepares them to recognize basic cardiac arrhythmias in clinical practice.
    • Course content:  Basic rhythm understanding , relationship between ECG strip and heart impulses, common arrhythmias and  identifying and distinguishing various arrhythmias
    • CME/CE Credit: Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible to apply for continuing education credits.
    • Once you order this program a course codes will be emailed within 24 hours of orders placed between 730am-530pm CST Monday-Friday. If order is placed on Friday after 5pm CST, code will be emailed Monday morning. You will be directed to a site to enter your code and start the program. The program will save your work it does not need to completed in one session.
