The Heartsaver program is for individuals needing CPR certification for work. It is not for Healthcare provider such as nursing, EMT. You would need the BLS program if working in a healthcare provider setting.

Our Heartsaver Courses are for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory or other requirements. While these courses are designed to meet OSHA requirements, OSHA does not review or approve any courses for compliance.

This program does offer 5 hours of safety training for IDPH. You must tell the instructor if you need safety hours so the paperwork will be submitted.

You must pay for this class upon registration , once payment is recieved it may take 24 hours to receive your keycode.

Complete the online portion, print out your completion certificate and bring it to class on the date you registered.
You will practice skills then be tested. Upon completion of the skills session you will recieve an AHA certification card.
The description for each course will detail how long the online portion takes and about how long the skills testing will take. All CPR programs include the use of the Automated External Defibrillator.
The course fee includes all part 1, 2, and 3 of the program, Online, skills practice and skills testing.
